Facilitation Mastery Program

We offer a range of public courses and in-house training customised to meet your specific needs.

This program is based on the philosophies and teachings of Zenergy facilitators, coaches, and researchers who have developed facilitation literature and programs founded in authentic, whole-person facilitation and cooperative principles.

Our programs offer a certificate of completion. You achieve Mastery by attending each of the following programs in sequence. However, depending on your facilitation experience, you can attend either program without being enrolled in the full Facilitation Mastery Program.

Introduction into Facilitation

A 40-hour program based on the book “The Art of Facilitation” by Dr Dale Hunter and colleagues. It will give you the foundations of what facilitation is and how to help a group to achieve its purpose. You will learn about the distinction of being a process expert and content-neutral. This is an experiential training program with in-the-moment coaching, peer feedback, and practice based on improvisation training practices.  This will enable you to learn by doing and feel energised and confident about your facilitation capabilities.

Advanced Facilitation

Knowing about facilitation techniques and frameworks is one thing, but knowing when to apply them is another. This advanced training program is a 40-hour experiential program based on the book “The Essence of Facilitation” by Dr Dale Hunter and colleagues. It focuses on the skill of distinguishing what is missing in a group to help any group that is stuck to move forward. We call it the invisible magical skills that skilled facilitators use to help groups achieve their desired outcomes. This program will deepen your skills from the introduction program and prepare you for further mastery.

Facilitation Mastery

This Program is built around the leading edges of its participants. Leading edges are the growth areas towards Mastery in Facilitation. Some examples of these areas would be Theory U, Appreciative Inquiry, working with conflict, Working with power dynamics, facilitating storytelling, designing organisational interventions, leading project teams, and many more.
